I’m a Melbourne-based developer currently living in the Westen Suburbs. For the past several years i’ve been working on developing, mantaining and managing all manner of web-based applications utilising a number of different technologies.
In fact, I built this entire site from the ground up in React using WordPress’s REST API!
Friendly and Dependable
I’ve had a wide exposure to a variety of different working agile environments. Be it working solo, or in a team, i’m prepared to put in 110% whether its remotely or in-person. I’m eager to build new relationships with peers, and expand my network – alongside my skillset.
As a person, I would describe myself as friendly, honest, and reliable – if a bit quiet. I try to do right by all those that rely on me, be it coworker, employer or stakeholder – and exceed expectations whenever I can.
Adapt to Any Challenge
I know development workplaces often require you to learn quickly in order to catch up to speed with the rest of the team. I have a large amount of experience in a wide number of generalist web components – from standard web HTML/CSS/JS, to OOP PHP and databases, to modern frameworks such as REACT – these have given me the knowledge and familiarity to hit the ground running.
I’ve worked with a lot of stuff that’s no doubt common to many developers – GIT, REST APIs, frontend libraries such as bootstrap and CMS like wordpress, but I also have experience with Auxillary tools, such as website SEO implementation, analytics data tracking, management applications such as Jira, and design programs like Figma – which I am able to work directly off.
Theres always new things to learn as a developer – tools, languages, frameworks and methodologies – the industry is constantly evolving, iterating and improving. These opportunities create unique challenges that i’m always eager to sink my teeth into, and a chance to demonstrate my technical and problem-solving skills.
